Lesson Cellar
The Lesson Cellar is a hidden classroom below the Crooked Schoolhouse.
Unlike the ruined schoolhouse above it, the cellar was clean, strange, and full of chalk dust, desks, blackboards, and Old Lion Road writing.
Known So Far
- The cellar is reached through a hatch under or near the schoolhouse blackboard.
- The sisters left clear footprints in the chalk.
- The old thief's trail became visible through route or fate-sight.
- The blackboards carried writing like Tessel's Old Lion Road Script.
- The sisters copied some marks, but later learned the copy was too inaccurate to translate.
- HEP's stolen key was hidden in a trapped cedar box on an altar.
- Retrieving the key triggered a fire trap and fire-key guardians.
- One sister dropped to 0 hp during the guardian fight, then was brought back by Healing Word.
- The masks later translated a blackboard route order:
School, well, shrine, home. - The sisters provoked and destroyed the Substitute Teacher, a construct-like chalk-and-bell threat beneath the schoolhouse.
- After the fight, another inscription warned them to refuse any road, door, or voice that asks for one sister alone.

- Who built the cellar.
- Whether it was part of F14's lessons, older route schooling, or both.
- What the original blackboard writing says.
- What the route order is meant to open.
- Whether the school can become safe again.
